Community Development Coordinator
Duration: 1 year (minimum 6 months)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate community development initiatives
- Liaise between different volunteer teams
- Help plan and execute long-term projects
- Attend monthly planning meetings
Requirements:
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to commit 10-15 hours per week
- Previous volunteer experience preferred
Long-term volunteers form the backbone of our community initiatives, providing continuity and deep engagement with our programs.
How to apply (BKJS registration)
- BKJS Membership ID required — verify at Verify ID
- Complete Volunteer Registration: intended role, skills, availability (1–5 / 5–10 / 10–20 / 20+ hours per week), and remote or on-site preference
- Applications are screened by the BKJS volunteer committee; appointment letters include service tenure dates
After appointment — Volunteer Hub
Verified volunteers with active appointments use the internal Volunteer Hub for tasks, polls, coordinator messages, and decision archives (hub overview).
