Community Development Coordinator

Duration: 1 year (minimum 6 months)

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate community development initiatives
  • Liaise between different volunteer teams
  • Help plan and execute long-term projects
  • Attend monthly planning meetings

Requirements:

  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to commit 10-15 hours per week
  • Previous volunteer experience preferred

  • BKJS Membership ID required — verify at Verify ID
  • Complete Volunteer Registration: intended role, skills, availability (1–5 / 5–10 / 10–20 / 20+ hours per week), and remote or on-site preference
  • Applications are screened by the BKJS volunteer committee; appointment letters include service tenure dates

After appointment — Volunteer Hub

Verified volunteers with active appointments use the internal Volunteer Hub for tasks, polls, coordinator messages, and decision archives (hub overview).
